03 — why masyaf
Built on a 900-year-old idea.
Masyaf was a castle in the Orontes Valley of Syria — headquarters of a small Nizari community that maintained independence for over a century against Crusaders, Zengids, and Ayyubids. Saladin besieged it in 1176 and withdrew. They survived not through size, but through strategic positioning, knowledge, and precision. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
